READ Condor Airborne Laplacian Gravity Xcalibur Multiphysics & Lockheed Martin to create next generation airborne gravity gradiometer SHARE New instrument to support natural capital mapping and energy transition goals of the geoscience Industry Xcalibur Multiphysics, the worldwide leader in airborne geophysics, have announced a collaboration with Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE: LMT), to produce a novel next generation airborne gravity gradiometer. Responsible mapping of natural resources is a critical component of sustainable investment, supporting the transition to clean energy, tackling climate change, protecting biodiversity, and building more inclusive and circular economies. This new instrument will augment Xcalibur’s existing technology, allowing for efficient, targeted exploration through non-invasive data acquisition and analysis from Xcalibur’s airborne platforms. With the anticipated significant improvement in sensitivity and resolution, the ability to map geology, detect specific targets and model the data will be greatly enhanced. The technology has the potential to change the way governments, exploration teams, and scientists use and integrate multi-physics data and will lead to faster, more informed decisions about how to manage natural resources. We believe in investing in R&D projects that not only push the boundaries of applied science, but also contribute to protecting biodiversity by efficient mapping of natural resources to support the energy transition. We are excited to add this new technology to our already impressive toolbox, and to continue our efforts to democratise access to high quality remotely sensed data said Andres Blanco, Chief Executive Officer of Xcalibur Multiphysics. < SEE PREVIOUS NEW SEE NEXT NEW > < > Related news I+D Hydrogen Tech Redefines Geoscience’s Role in Energy Future SEE MORE > I+D Xcalibur Multiphysics updates MagCUBE IFR WebMap via ArcGIS Online SEE MORE > Blog – Analysis and expert opinion Airborne Gravity Data Capture and Geoid Modelling SEE MORE > Last news Xcalibur Smart Mapping completes 66,000 km airborne survey in France’s Central Massif SEE MORE > Blog – Analysis and expert opinion Einstein-First project: Supporting a brighter future in science education SEE MORE > Blog – Analysis and expert opinion Official Launch of Zambia’s High-Resolution Aerial Geophysical Survey Project SEE MORE > Last news Xcalibur Smart Mapping Partners with Curtin University to Pioneer Aerial Detection Technology for Natural Hydrogen Exploration SEE MORE > Last news Xcalibur Smart Mapping to support sustainable mining and natural capital exploration in Bhutan SEE MORE > Last news Technology Driving a Data-Driven Energy Transition SEE MORE > Last news Xcalibur Smart Mapping and Koloma Forge Partnership to Accelerate Global Natural Hydrogen Exploration SEE MORE > Contact us.
